I plan to go to a club on saturday for the 1st time ever. Really nervous and I keep seeing posts about single males going into a club 1st time knowing no1 are made to feel not wanted or awkward. Has anyone had any experience of this happening or maybe not happening or know hows best to stop it. I dont want to go in and be put off right away

Firstly have you checked that the club allow single men in on a Saturday? We know a number don't.

Its not that single men are unwanted its poorly behaved single men are unwanted. Go with no expectations be polite to people smile and engage in conversation, if people are engaging in sexual acts don't crowd around them unless invited. Sounds simple but respect is everything and thats where alot of people fail.

Excellent advice. Manners and common sense go a long way.

go early, go weekday as this is what we always did, just found it easier to be there almost first and sat watch others arrive and left before 2pm

You say it's a spa type of club. Therefore, go with the expectations of enjoying the facilities and chilling rather than anything else. Then if anything else does happen, it would be a bonus.

Do try to chat with people. Also, if the club has got a chat group, do join it.

As a single male it can be a challenge, I attend a club in Bournemouth, and go with the attitude, that I'm there for a social evening, and any thing else that happens is a bonus.

Honestly it's no less sad or awkward than a single male going to any normal bar on their own.

Only you can experience the feeling.

Go, enjoy, be a social butterfly, don’t get d*unk.

Not clear where, but don’t wank in the corner, respect the club rules, respect others and yourself

Have fun. It’s gone wrong if you’re not

"Go, enjoy, be a social butterfly, don’t get d*unk. "

We were at a couples only event once, and a single woman turned up with some random guy that she'd found so that she could get in, and dropped him as soon as she could.

But we got chatting with him, and he seemed nice, and my partner thought he was kind of cute. We were planning to invite him for a threesome, but as time went on it was clear he was getting very, very d*unk, so we went elsewhere....
