No matter how much effort ive put into messages in the past with people all I get back is rude and unessary insults or blanked im probably just well I dont know any pros have tips like because I haven't a clue what to do anymore do I just come off here xD

Don't lose heart or think there's something wrong with you. There are so many single men on here that they far outnumber women.

If it's affecting you negatively why not take a break and return refreshed with different expectations

Its something ive only started to try today to be honest but no harm in sticking around here along as people are nice because well so far it seems that way been bullied and cyber bullied all my life but I'll see how it goes i guess

I'm sorry to hear that.

I suggest you block all mail for a bit. Read the forums, join in if you feel like it and if anyone starts with the unpleasant banter ignore it completely or if it's abusive report it.

If your sole aim of being on fab is to meet for sex then you're in for the long haul

There is excuse for personal abuse! Report anyone with inappropriate behaviour to Admin, even if they block you.

The issue of lack of progress is separate and standard for single men. Read a few of the posts in the forum from others and the advice given.

No reply is a reply of no thanks. These should be expected as normal here. And especially as most people are not mutually compatible with most other people. They'd all get no replies or blocked.

It's not for the faint-hearted, being a single guy on here. You have to be very thick-skinned and be able to laugh off quite a bit or rejection. If it's really getting to you, maybe a break might be a good solution, and have a think about whether it's really the experience you want.

Personally I’m absolutely awful at engaging someone’s interest with an opening message, I either get ignored or told to gtf. I don’t let it bother me though because nobody on here knows me in real life and I’m not bothered by getting called names or the like, it truly is there loss because I’m not shy at all in person, no idea why my brain goes blank when it comes to messaging one of the ladies on the site🙈

Look for an organised social event in your area

And just remember that there's so many single guys on here then you narrow things by your preference and other peoples preferences... So the " pool" of potential gets smaller

Your profile is your shop window

People rarely "ask" for information the read/look at a profile even before your message.

Just relax about it

Hello OP. Sorry to say this, but your problem is not unique to you. But, on the more positive side, your problem is not unique to you. It happens to many people, largely single males but certainly not exclusively. As others have said, don't let it get you down, and don't be afraid to take a break for a while and find some other avenues to fill your time.

Usually a bit of perspective helps though, so think of this; if you were in a fully packed Wembley Stadium right now there is a good chance that someone among the crowd would want sex with you. But what are the chances of you finding that person if all you can do is wave at them from your seat? Pretty slim I'd say. But if you slip down to the concourse and socialise, people will notice you more and your chances are likely to increase. So to bring it back to Fab, messages are easily ignored or go unseen among the crowd, but actual interaction is always noticed. I can see you have already started to use the forums and with that no doubt you have noticed an uptick in the number of people looking at your profile, which goes to prove my point. Remember, whilst there are no guarantees on Fab, I'd say that getting more noticed is a positive step towards getting a meet.

You might also want to have a little look at your profile and add to the two lines of text it currently consists of. As Flowercandy has already said, people won't ask for information and they will use your profile as a quick filter to see if they are interested before messaging or replying, so use your profile as your shop window to sell yourself.

When all is said and done, Fab isn't everything, so don't let it get you down. Good luck

I completely understand your response I agree and Im having fun on the forums I avoided it in the past because I didnt think it w9uod be for me but I have noticed a difference using the forums and its enjoyable and I have gone say more noticed a d with the profile side of things im just absolutely crap at talking about putting something about myself which I know I need to work on that thabks for the response.

Your welcome.

Could we just offer one more piece of advice? It would be a good idea to split your text into two or more paragraphs. At present it appears as a wall of text and most people would rather have bit sized chunks. If nothing else it makes it easier to read.
