after 3 weekends of having our time wasted by couples who chat all week about meeting then on the day of the meet stop talking! im begining to think our profile is somehow scareing them, iv said to ian i think we should either remove our pics and hide our varis, and see how we get on, but ian said that we would be hiding our real selves, but im at the point now where im thinking whats the point we only get the chance to play at weekends really so its really frustrating getting messed about, any ideas?? xx

Pics and profile look great, i can only think you have been unlucky enough to get crap meets lol. We mainly meet at clubs, so maybe thats the way to go if there are some good ones near you. Bonus is if they back out the night isnt wasted and who knows what naughtyness you can get up to with the others there

You will always get people with cold feet, people who aren't what they say they are and others who are not looking to meet in reality its a matter of sifting through. I know a lot of couples who go down the route of an early phone call and get far higher success with people once they have talked a few times on the phone.

Rather than get all wound up about it why not insist on a very early fem to fem call. Helps sort the dreamers from the real players.

We've always used an early female to female phone call as part of our screening process. Not foolproof obviously and we had something similar happen to us so know how annoying it can be but hey ho such is life.

i just had an odd one too.

had arranged to meet a fella tonight for a social.next thing i know he is posting in events for a meet the same day.wtf that all about.

when i asked him,he said could i do an hour this afternoon.

think you can all guess my answer.

simple...dont chat all week

and who knows whats being discussed during the week..its not the best idea in my opinion for people to be chatting to get to really know eachother via internet/phones

secure the meet and go..have as little chat as possible...and of course..have backup people to be chatting with

and honestly..I'm just really unaware of any meets I've had over the years where I've thought once the meet was planned theyd be backing out..again, sorry if it sounds harsh...but I think there may be a poor choice in who has been selected..or the couples are failing to communicate properly(normally the case one side pushing an unwilling partner)

Exactly why 99% of our play is in clubs now.

Time is precious when there's so much other stuff going on and at a good club at least you can still have a fantastic night if a meet lets you down.
