Singles only event thoughts.

Here's a mad idea. Couples generally don't want single males (some do, yes, but not all). Single males outnumber everyone and a limited guest list can screen the timewasters out.

Single males generally want to partner up with someone.

What if someone organised a "singles only" event where a limited number of single men and single women had a social?

Has that ever been done before?

Suspect you’d get 20+ men to every woman who was interested

However many women interested, narrow the number of men to that and that only. If it's only a few, then so be it.

Don't think it's been done before but there have been "swingle" parties- parties where there wasn't a couples option, people either attended as a single male or single female that worked really well

As an organiser myself you always have to invite double or triple the number of single men, that way the number you need will turn up.

I think it's a great idea but how can you make sure people turn up? Also I have a preference which may not turn up which would be sad but if it's a fun social I wouldn't mind too much.

I'm straight so I never meet couples so it works for me.

think you need to think how many single female are on this scene bearing in mind 50 to 60% women profiles on fab are men and same or wore for many other sites the simply are not enought women that want this lifestyle so a singles night for this scene will give you very onesided nights for every one woman that enqire (if your lucky) ehere will be 100 me chopin at the bit ...

A friend of mine recently attended a daytime greedy girl event. She was one of only 3 ladies who attended, over the 7 hours she was there. Plenty of guys to choose from obviously, and like she said; very much representative of the scene as a whole….

Stick with vanilla bars and pubs OP; you’re better thought of as a person, and not hit in the pocket because you’re a ‘single guy’ in any aspect of this side to our lives
