Single Male - First Swingers Club

Hi All,

I have never been to a swingers club before. I am thinking of going to one alone next time I fly out to Europe.

I have generally and introverted and reserved person so any ideas for what to generally expect and a good approach to have?

Don't know the European club scene but can talk in general about aproach.

Genrally you can't sit/stand there and expect people to come to you. The onus is on you to break the ice, start a conversation. Which as an introvert may be daunting. However I don't make the rules, is what it is. Generally a polite introduction is a good start. Just be yourself and give a warm smile (if smiling is natural to you). Opening eye contact tells alot. The important thing is be comfortable by being yourself and not trying to be someone else. And don't worry about being introvert or quiet if thats you. Not everyone is into loud of bombastic people, they just vibe of peoples souls. Make a bit of small talk. Remember at this stage the content of what's being said isn't that important, say anything, it's just about engaging and assessing chemistry. By this point hopefully you'll know if things are going well or if its a non-starter. And obviously there comes a time when it's time to pop the big question (again sometimes the onus is on you) and just ask would like to go to a room or something like that. Obviously that question is based of a good perception of the chemistry going on as well as timing.

And remember taste is subjective and you won't be everyone's cut of tea. No thanks are OK and normal. Not lose your grip over a few no thanks, don't lose you. Don't get nice guy victimisation complex like so many guys do on here. Just be you and you will find your people (if they are in that venue that night, sometimes the right people just aren't in). Remember as a rule of thumb people don't like it when someone is trying to be something they're not and can see right through it.

And of course (but I doubt I need to say it to you) common human respect is everything.

I have yet to visit Amsterdam. However I do not have a strong interest history and architecture.

Does anyone have any destination recommendations where there are decent clubs? I have been told Spain specifically Gran Caneria is very popular.
