So was chatting to another user and it was going well. I haven’t had time to log on and answer a message for 4-5 days and I’ve logged on now to get an arsey message about not talking and been blocked for the trouble of it. Sometimes I wonder if people realise what this site is, don’t think people realise that not everyone has time to be on here daily. Like we all want sex and to have fun and enjoy some socials etc but not 24/7.

In hindsight maybe it’s a bullet dodged that I’ve been blocked lol. I just wanted to vent and maybe see if it’s something more common or if it’s just me

To be honest you owe no one nothing nor do they you

That said if you were as you say talking to someone and it was going well and then didn’t communicate for 4/5 days or even say you’ll be busy and may not be around for a bit then that’s their choice to block you. Abusive or crappy message is not needed though

For me there are people on here and in life you talk daily to, some a bit less and some even less than that.

It really depends on what your and their expectations are of how often you’ll communicate

Sone folks don't take into account that people have lives.

We have kids and jobs, but will get hounded by requests to meet right away and get abuse if we don't reply when they want.

Also sometimes conversations just naturally fizzle out and end naturally.

If I was having a back and forth conversation with somebody for a few days, then they went offline for 5 days I'd probably delete and move on. Obviously without the abuse, there's no excuse for that.

If they had invested time and emotional energy into something, then you disappeared without explanation for the best part of a week, they probably felt frustrated. Again, it's not an excuse but a possible explanation.

I do not believe that anyone can be that busy they don't possibly have thirty seconds available in the space of five days to send a message to say they're busy and will make contact when time allows.

But at the end of the day you owe each other nothing so just move on.

Happy Tuesday x

We're incredibly slow to get back to people. Impatience doesn't work for us.

Impatient people (let’s be honest it’s always guys) are just trying to shut out other options.

First sign of impatience they’re binned

If a guy went dark for 5 days we'd probably write him off. "Didn't have time" is bullshit, as reading and responding takes a whole 30 seconds out of your 24 hour day. The reality is either "likes to play games" or "not serious" or "can't really be arsed", all of which are a guaranteed disconnect.

Came armed with popcorn for the hospital kink jokes, but sadly there’s not one to be had.
