Space Mountain

Recently I messaged a lady with a cheeky reply to her status and she replied back (which is rare for me).

I asked her two simple, friendly (not sleezy) question and got asked, am I police due to asking all these questions.

I'm a little confused, how do you get to know someone initially without asking questions?

Hi op, it depends on what you're asking.

I hate being asked about work or where abouts I am etc, by people I don't really know. Sometimes it can feel like an inquisition, so maybe that's what they meant.

For anyone to give an answer you’d need to say what the questions you asked were

I would agree with this... sometimes it feels like they are building up towards asking your mother's maiden name.

Questions are good, but it depends on their context.

Its nice when someone wants to get to know you. When you immediately get hit with graphic pictures and messages....for us thats a huge turn off.

All depends on the kind of questions and the number of them. Did you ask one, let them reply, than ask another? Or was it like a Fab survey? I hate questions about my work and my private life, as well as how I'm doing on here or "what's the naughtiest thing you've done".

Maybe that was a clue and she's attracted to policemen.

"Did you say "may I ask you a question? How is this site treating you ?""

My answer to the first one of those is normally "You just did"

To be honest, i’d say that asking someone who you’ve only exchanged one previous message with ‘what excites you?’ is a bit sleazy. You say ‘how am i meant to get to know someone without asking them questions’ but asking someone what men they are attracted to and what excites them doesn’t seem like you were trying to get to know her, you’ve basically made the conversation sexual with your second message. I think that her reply was a way of trying to use humour to disguise the fact that she didn’t want to disclose her sexual desires to a complete stranger, she was avoiding answering an inappropriate question in the most polite way she could. You are making out like you’re completely innocent and was just being friendly and she was the aggressor with a bad attitude, but i think that it was actually the other way round.
