No judging. But I have started seeing a woman in a relationship. There are reasons I won't go into.

Just finding it hard to meet. We work together in a busy office and can get time out during the day. But where can we go? Are there nice places you can rent during the day?

But in a lot of hotels, the earliest you can check in is 3pm. Never used the day use hotels but I'm guessing the idea is, you can use the room from much earlier, for a while?

The DayUse app is good, and you can book Village Hotels directly. Depending on the hotel you can get in as early as 9am. (The Holiday Inn not too far from me does 9-4 for £65 instead of £80 for a night (ie from 3pm)

Thanks all. Didn't know such an app existed. This is perfect. Although would be nice to find a air BNB Stile one. Little cabin and a hot tub for the day would be nice.

There are a few different apps for the same thing. Day use being the most popular.

It was a lot cheaper pre COVID, but now it is only just less than staying the whole night. As you say OP is it not the cost but the fact you can use the hotel for a daytime meet, which is what a lot of people are doing it for.

Well google it then and find somewhere, show this new partner your capable of arranging a nice room/ cabin for the day.

As mentioned and per your original comment.. day use hotels would be more suited.

And it really doesn't matter if it's slightly cheaper than a full hotel if you're able to check in after 2-3pm then there's little reason to need it's usage.

If the other person is cheating it's far easier to book a day use hotel and keep a "work" routine by checking in the hotel Vs the office.

Definitely ask her before you book as it's not everyone's cup of tea. I was in a similar position a few years ago, booked a DayUse room and it just wasn't sexy at all.

I’ve used the day use site for years OP, it works perfectly for those looking for some private time 9am to 5pm. I favourite the Marriott chain for overall standards of comfort, cleanliness, and your day ticket gets you use of their leisure facilities (sauna, jacuzzi, pool etc) too.

Supremely a far better choice than a smeggy judo mat in a swinger club pmsl….

Maybe they could do with a bit more discretion. A club offers a cheap alternative to a day use hotel. It does not offer as much anonymity though.

The concept of utilising a hotel for “day use” or any other activity rather than sleeping overnight is filled with fear of reprisals for absolutely no reason whatsoever; hotels simply don’t care!

As long as you don’t disturb other guests or partake in any activity that’ll cause management concern; you and yours are no different from the thousands they see every week!

Simply call the hotel of your choice, explain you’d like to stay from x to y on said date and they’ll confirm your booking; it’s that simple.

Price points and check in times are the only variables!

Day use sites simply exploit your self-conscious and get paid for the privilege!

Just for a few hours? Private, secluded, hot tub, and I guess you want it dead cheap, clean and with a bottle of complimentary Bollinger. Can't wait to hear where, once you find the place, I'm booking right after you.

Lol. Thats the ideal, still eludes me I'm afraid, not a fan of fizz and at this point I'd pay double the nightly rate.
