Ask yourself the same question and how would you feel if they mailed you and said they seen you online?

We have seen people we know on here and don't think its any of our business to let them know we have seen them

We just think good on ya and leave them to it

Got to agree with the above, if you dont want to play with them then cant see any reason to highlight the fact you have seen them.

My real life before swinging best friends on here an actually so are a few others. I think its Fab my friends are into same things as me an would want anyone that knows me to say hello. x

As difficult as it may seem we would tell them discretely because if you have worked out who it is then so can others.

If like us they are very private about this part of the lives they will appreciate the advice.

How you all deal with it is another matter but if they are good friends you really should tell them

Difficult one. I suppose it depends on how good a friendship you have with the person.

Personally. Sarah and I would probably raise it tactfully if we saw a friend on here. Such as mentioning swinging in general and see what a response we got...

For me it would depend on the level of friendship - a really close friend may be someone to share stoires and discuss a new mutual interest with. A friend I fancy may lead to something new... and whatever path that may take you down like any relationship. But a friend outside my close "inner circle"? Probably best to stay nothing and just smile when you see the ad

Some friends of mine (a couple, on another site) got grief when his ex (pre-swinging) told his family about him and his current wife being swingers (which they didn't take kindly to) as she had seen them/their pics on "a site".

The silly thing is the site they're on is a paid site that you can't see pictures unless you've paid your subscription... makes me wonder

iv seen a few people i know in the ordinary world on here and i say nothin!! if they mail i delete i feel personally that their business is nothin to do with me as is mine but i dont have a face pic on profile they do! i like my privacy and respect theirs xx

Are you ashamed of being on a swinging site? You must be. If you saw your frined in Tescoes would you be shit scared to tell them you saw them in Tescoes ? Saying something as simple as 'we use the same site as you' shouldn't be a problem if you are close friends .. I can't agree with anyone who says don't say anything. I couldn't look a friend in the eye if I was secretive toward them. Say something!

Granny Crumpet - it has nothing to do with being 'ashamed' of being on a Swingers Site the fact is some people's minds are just too small and narrow to comprehend anything out of the normal...its about choosing who you tell about what u get up to in your personal life and if you see friends on this site, it really depends on how friendly with them you are to mention that u've seen them.

Quite simple really, the sister has a friend is a member and then asks her 'is this your brother/sister'.

We got a message some time back convinced he knew my partner Colleen, when we explained he was wrong he said he believed he was right and would show some friends to confirm.

i agree with this, im not ashamed of what i do but that does not mean i need to advertise my private life to everyone, i have kids and i wouldnt want this to get back to my kids, have people i know talking about it and being over heard by their kids and my children being bullies by them for having a 'swinging mum'!! so even if i saw someone i know on here i would still never say anything, firstly for their discretion, if they wanted me to know they would tell me, and i figure the reaosn they havnt is because they dont want me to know, but mainly for the resson i stated about, children have big ears and over hear a lot of what mum and dads says

and if they take the same route, you may both be waiting/hoping for the other to bring it up.

if you are good friends then I don't see why expressing you both share the same 'hobby' should be a problem, I would speak up if it was a close(ish) friend I notice, a simple message allowing them to see my profile, I have however seen a few people I know that I don't consider that close a friend and I just simply know them, so I said nothing.
