I'm a chunky monkey.

Some people like that. Occasionally they might be the sort of people I like too. But the odds are small.

But not everyone does. Or it might be that I don't have a different characteristic that they want (beard, tattoos, etc)

But while some people judge purely on looks, others prefer to make a mental connection. So post on the forums, don't have a tantrum if you get rejected, and just be yourself

Most people, of whatever looks, build etc will not be mutually compatible with most people. So they won't get replies, may likely get blocked - to prevent future unnecessary contact etc.

This will have nothing to do with their looks and abilities, merely that attraction AND full compatibility is very rare. It's perhaps 1% that we should hope for.

We can just be honest and make our own realistic expectations. It's only each of us that can do that.

And take care of ourselves, so that what we engage with is only positive for us and our wellbeing.

It's always much harder for single men here, hence why socials and clubs can be helpful.

Depends what kind of woman your trying to get

But in general gym and be confident and talk and make sure your profile looks interesting

Sometimes it’s not about looks. Personality can come through on here as well. Both in a positive and negative way

Don’t rely on here as being your only way of meeting people

I suppose confidence is an issue too to be honest.

Two things i guess that can help, there will always be people who would fancy you no matter how you look etc.

As for changing how you are, if you cant do gym etc try changing your diet.

I definitely do not have the “Brad Pitt” physique and look like a cross between the back end of a bus and a monkfish but I am sure that one day I will be someone’s cup of tea. I know that I need to go to a club and/ socials but it’s getting the confidence to do so and accepting that you maybe sat there the whole time being ignored. Or-you may just get chatting-no action-but that all important verification. That alone is probably worth that visit. You never know.

It's nothing to do with being a larger person or disability. If you have a generic profile and pics that are the generic you will get passed by unfortunately

Smiling goes a long way sometimes

To be fair there is plenty of women that prefer chubby to slim and fit.

Same as men prefer BBW to slim

It’s all about taste I mean I’m a little chubby wife’s BBW neither of us like the skinny look

And I’d say keep with the socials see if can strike up chat with couples even if just as friendship type

Also clubs always a good way to meet

I see comments on smiling

For me smiling in a selfie doesn’t look right. I look like I’m in pain

If you have photos of you taken by others or with friends where you’re smiling then crop them and use them if you want
