Essex

Had a meet at the weekend with a beautiful woman from Fab, easy conversation, both had a really good time (she asked to meet again and threw some possible dates out when I dropped her off)

She then messaged me an hour later to check I got home, again told me she had a great time and can't wait for the next.

Woke up to another message from her, just wishing me a good morning, what am I up to etc.

I responded to these messages positively, mutual feelings etc and suggested one of the dates she mentioned for the next meet and.....nothing.

Checked fab, her account is gone (presume I'm blocked)

Is what it is, just found it very odd behaviour, I guess she owes me nothing, anyone else had a seemingly positive experience with a good follow up and then just.....gone?

She could have done, absolutely.

But we weren't messaging via fab once we met, I only checked fab once she went quiet elsewhere.

As I say, is what it is, could be many reasons to block me/ignore my responses to her messages, just find it strange behaviour when she appeared so keen to continue talking/meeting

Join the club, you're not alone in things like this happening just be glad it was after meeting and not before, at least they turned up, take the positives and move on or it will screw with your head if you over think it, well that's my experience anyway

Maybe she liked you too much, and scared herself...

"Maybe life has got in the way. "

Maybe...but to actively block me on fab (presuming) and the other platform we spoke on (messages aren't being delivered) seems like more effort if "life got in the way."

A simple "actually, I'm not on pursuing this, bye" would have at least been more courteous

But as I say, we owe eachother nothing, jmi just normally expect to be ghosted BEFORE a meet

From what you have written it seems to me she was getting to involved too quickly and it scared her. At least you had a really good time with her.

What I have learnt is that no matter how well you think you know someone you never know what's going through their mind and they can surprise you at any moment

Best kind of situation honestly happens all the time and I agree it's very perplexing.

There can be lots of reasons including she just felt too much attraction to you, she has something else going on in a life that has to be a priority right now, she's in a relationship and realises she doesn't want to cheat, it really could be anything.

It's not about you though it's to do with her in my opinion

Nothing surprises me on here. Frustrating if you’ve invested time into this “relationship”.

Lol they usually do that just before an arranged meet, savour the good memories !!. Yes in the past we had meets that claimed they wanted something regular yet turned out to be 'serial monogamists'. Two long term couples out of it all though, now gone too (one moved, the other split up !).... Fingers crossed she gets in touch with you again
