I can't. Fab won't allow me too log in using data. Is this normal? So actually missed a message while I was out that was quite important.

Your data probably has blocking for adult sites. Contact your SP to lift blocking or use a VPN.

"Would I just turn VPN on? Ty"

It’s easier just change your phone network settings to allow adult content

Whenever this happens, the first thing to do is see if you can get to any other popular porn site. If you can, then it's a Fab problem. If you can't then it's a problem with who you're connecting through.

Mobile phone companies often set new contracts up with an age filter, or occasionally mess up and re-apply an age filter. It's normally easy to do with a phone call, through your account page on their website or via an app to remove this block.

Same thing with home broadband suppliers. Same process to remove.

If you're on a public/work WiFi then either turn it off and use your mobile data, or try a VPN if you really need access.

Might take a while for the settings to update, also best to reboot your phone before trying, too.

I had to contact my network provider to lift the adult content restriction. It's normal to have to do this as most network providers have an adult site block as default. Just call them and they will lift it. Only takes a minute

This, mine managed to re-apply the block overnight so I couldn't log in this morning. Used an online chat through my providers' app and got it lifted again in minutes.

I use a VPN with Opera browser. And connect to Fab with that . So when out and about there isn't a problem with network rules blocking the site.

Yes Mobile phone providers are aware of this and put that block in place so thee kiddywinks don't end up on sites that' are not for minors. A quick chat with customer services, will soon give you full access.

I can only get in using my data because adult sites are blocked on my WiFi.

Check with you data provider to see if you've got adult content sites blocked

Most wifi routers will have an option to turn off adult filters.

My advice would be to use a vpn anyway

Been getting a

"This Site Can't Provide a Secure Connection" error if trying to access fab through mobile data when out. Only for last couple of days.

However when home and its through WiFi it works fine.

Tried deleting cache and rebooting my phone and checked my network hasn't suddenly reapplied 18+ block which it hasn't.

Any ideas how to get it working again when not on WiFi?

Sorted it myself

It was a blooming auto "timezone auto update" that had not been applied.

Applied it and hey presto everything working again

As some have noted, occasionally mobile networks can reinstate the blocks, so watch out, should it ever happen again.

Mine did this at the start. If you log into your network provider account, most have a security and privacy section where you can change it.

Yeah mobile networks seem to go through phases were they keep re-instating the blocks. I suspect they have technical difficulties at times that result in the list just being blanket re-applied to whole batches of accounts.

Even with adult content allowed mobile still not working. Worked for many years then stopped. Always brings up "mumsnet". Also how to verify with a picture and your name on no longer works. The feature "whose nearby" still not working. Strange.

Even allowing adult content doesn't work for fab mobile but works for all other sites.

Finally sorted. Apparently when virgin media closed their mobile site and migrated all users to 02 they forgot tell people that all adult content would be blocked.

It's all to do with stopping kids accessing porn. I cannot access well known porn sites now. I've changed parental settings still won't work. I've logged onto my broadband account. Changed settings there. Still no good.
