Hey Fabbers,

I’m quite new to all of this, but I’ve built a lot of my confidence up over the past year and have a few experiences on here under my belt now ahaha.

I’ve seen a few profiles on here that are clubs profiles and it does look like to much fun to miss out on lol.

What should I really be expecting/ to do at a club?

Also, is it a good scene for single males?

I would say if you have an ego check it at the door.confidence is fine but if you swan in thinking your gods gift it wont go down too well.

Best advice i can give you is go in with no expectations.but with an attitude of im going here for a nice night and a maybe a few drinks.if the club your going to sells alchohol.and anything past that is a bonus. sex is not given just because you have paid to get in.

Dont join the Horde of the wanking Dead and respect peoples personal space if a couple or group asks you to back off respect there wishes it spoils it for everyone when you have a bloke who keeps trying to get within an inch of a couple wanking

This is spot on, do all the leg work in the non play areas, chat to people, mingle and there is a chance you will play. Clubs can be great for single guys or hideous depending on how you approach them

I had a man I would have considered approach me but we were going home shortly. He walked off in a huff and although i've seen them a few times since, he's burnt his bridges now.

Im new to visiting clubs and bars, cinemas etc i too was apprehensive about what to expect but honestly treat it like normal interactions in life and its great. Thats my personal feeling being new to attending venues.

We recently starting going as a couple, so obviously different as for a single guy, but we had a great laugh. Just treated it as a night out, and whatever happened happened. We had 1 guy who we spoke to for 10 mins at 1st, and he then followed us round, kept lopping it out whenever we went anywhere near a dark room. Maybe don't do that

I'm in exactly the same boat mate - going into a social situation, with people you don't know, is always a bit nerve wracking. I'm hoping to go to an event, but ideally meet people beforehand just to warm up, that way when I'm there I have a somewhat safe person to ground me.

Do very thorough research on the available clubs, to find the right one for you, including your budget, availability and their schedule for single men. Potentially a non- member day lets you see it and facilities.

Play the long game, as with Fab, expecting early weeks to be about getting established and to know people and some familiarity of you.

Put actual sex as low priority. Go for the social interaction, facilities and events.

Speak and always be respectful, not just to those you would fuck

Some great advice here

My (Mr) biggest gripe is guys waiting to approach Mrs until I go to bar/toilet.

She waits till I return and then the very next question is why they waited.

I have no issue if a guy came over and spoke to me first to ask what we were looking for

As a general rule, If you want to chat to a couple, go and chat to the couple.
