Why is it near on impossible to get a reply or a connection with people on this site?

I guess it must work for some people but in my experience, the only way I’ve really had any success was from meeting in clubs.

That’s all good but I would much rather have a bit more of a build up with replies to messages, the anticipation of meeting and then the possibility of play.

Club meetings are all good for random hook ups but they do seem to lack that thrill or build up that in turn helps with better and more satisfying outcomes.

Without wanting to be rude, I don't think it is much of mystery as to why you are struggling.

Firstly, the ratio of men to women is ridiculous. People look at your photographs as their first stop on your profile, you have one of a tattoo. You can't accommodate, you want punk, emo, vintage pin up girls. They need to fit into you age range, and their relationship status needs to fit in with your moral compass. All of these points are completely valid and you are well within your rights to seek them, but you must understand it's going to make your circle small.

As a couple we have things we look for in single men.

First rule is read our profile!! it literally has a section for single men...most dont bother.

We don't reply to dick pics, we don't reply to "hey" or "wanna fuck" etc.

Don't take it to heart as everyone has reasons to not reply and as already stated its a saturated market..we get 50 messages a day off guys and we will delete 49 of them (sometimes 50)

I’ve tried to write a bio that sets out what I’m seeking and hopefully has enough information to respectfully generate wanting to know more but alas, this isn’t the case.

Having photos of tattoos or in a smartly dressed , I’m hoping that they would be seen as a conversation starter, as I don’t want to have a profile that is full of pictures of my genitalia or action scenes… I’ve read enough profiles to know that ten dick pics taken at different angles over a toilet bowl is not what any person would to look to see from potential partners.

It’s a good profile (although could do with more photos - there’s a big spectrum between ‘wholesome and smartly dressed’ and ‘dick pic over a toilet bowl) - so, as an earlier commenter said, you just need to temper your expectations. You’re one of a huge number of people all fishing in the same puddle.

FWB but you can't accommodate?

There's to many unknowns to "spark " an interest.

If there are messages sent most will go check the profile and it's at that point yours should still show what you've messaged them about..

Ex..I'm interest in the kinky side of things---- are there pictures that MIGHT INDICATE this

I'd love to go meet for walks, I enjoy outdoors play...are there pictures or verifications to show/confirm this.

I'm a bit cheeky, spontaneous, edgy,direct... does your profile suggest show say or match this..

Generally most profiles DO NOT match what their typed dreams wish

Thank you for the replies.

It seems that there is many different ways to find success with the swinging and even the dating scene.

One good way is by going to clubs as a single guy and depending on how good you are at striking up conversation, make connections without appearing as a desperate guy that is just hoping to get some action….. even though we all at there for that same simple reason.

Sure, going to a club does lower the potential odds for success but it can also make you feel more defeated if your night out ends with more rejection than actual action, but also by having real in person interactions, you are much more likely to be able to work the charm with people when you see them in person and make the effort to interact and not be one of them creepy people that hangs around the playrooms reeking of desperation.

The other way is by browsing the various internet sites for profiles that you feel attracted to then you could be facing a uphill battle and more difficult choices as it’s really hard to get replies from messages as a single guy that is hidden behind a poorly written message and a very questionable photograph.

It’s just a very difficult game with complex rules that seem to just lead to a lot of frustration or confusion!
