"Hi all, I am looking to branch out and find my feet with a club scene....never been to one but it interests me. I am single and i am wondering what kind of etiquette i woukd expect to uphold by attending a venue? Obviously there are do's and dont's but is it down to the discretion of people you are interested in or are there host/hostess rules that over-rule too? Also, is it beneficial to attend with someone who is happy to come with you? Thanks all. From an interested guy" don’t be a wanking zombie. Talk to people. Be yourself.

I’d add that no means no, talk to the men in couples as well as the woman and you should go expecting to make connections but not believing you have a right to play just because you’re there. Most clubs have an etiquette section - worth reading for the place you’re planning to visit.

"I mean the thing to do is ask yourself; is the way I'm thinking of, or about to behave going to be c**ty? If so, chances are it is! But if you're one of these that doesn't know what the definition is of being an a**e, you probably don't belong in most social settings, let alone swingers clubs. I always like to remember some good advice I heard once that I apply to everything I do now, that is to try and imagine you have a camera on you like a police body cam, watching and reviewing all actions you take, If you make an effort to see the way you do things from another perspective, I guarantee you will naturally think in this way (conscientiously), you will not need to ask or question anyone about how to behave anywhere, including swingers clubs because it will just become your nature " It's a long winded way of saying "be yourself". Sometimes gets used a lot but there's a reason for that cliche

From an interested guy" Besides all the general rules please visit the website for the club you are attending Each club is different in their vibe, dress rules etc So take that into consideration Also if you haven't become a member what you need to do to fulfill the requirements
