Male of couple having single account - worth it

A bit of advice required.

Wife has decided she’s had one too many bad meets and retiring from swinging. Quite happy though for me (husband) to continue meets with her permission.

Is it worth the male of a couple setting up a single guy account? Obviously there is huge competition within guys and age is against me. The one advantage is having a good understanding of the hot wife scenario from the inside as well as very clear personal circumstances and permission.

What do we think ?

Let's just say that my single account (Mr) is far less productive than. Our couples account.

Id personally sit down and figure out why you've had the negative experiences and work on a way to prevent it in the future.

It's a hell of a difficult lifestyle to navigate.

The competition definitely means your chances to a degree may be slim pickings at first. Although, if you are still wanting to give this a go and your wife isn't meeting anymore then it seems the sensible thing to do.

What I would do is edit your couple profile, explain the situation and ask anyone interested can contact you via your own personal profile. I see couples who meet separately note their individual profiles on their couple account.

Not sure if this would work but maybe prehaps reach out to those who have verified you as a couple, explain the situation and ask if they'd be willing to verify you again? At least you'd be starting off with a fully verified profile which would in essence increase your chances somewhat as a lot of people won't meet unverified profiles.

Doesn't matter cant block distances

With permission on a singles account is always a no flag for me..but some women dont care. The fact that it's not a mutual enjoyment is also a no if I'm seeking a couple.

Just boils down to you and your home.. age isn't the deciding factor or really relevant when I'm seeking comparability. I just prefer not to look like I'm out as their carer...

I don't think keeping the couples profile will give you some kind of advantage

If you try to swing as a single from a couples profile because your partner is not participating anymore you run the risk of Admin changing it to a singles profile.

"If you try to swing as a single from a couples profile because your partner is not participating anymore you run the risk of Admin changing it to a singles profile."

This, also most of the pics are of your wife, so you'd need to maybe look at removing them and adding more of just you.

My other half and I have a joint profile, plus a single one each (we met here). We reference the other accounts on out profiles so people can see it's all above board etc.

I have to admit, I'm often suspicious of couple profiles where their status is "just male meeting". I think some couple profiles are no longer couples or he's still using it, without her knowledge (not meaning that's you).

So I think a single profile would work better, especially if you can get someone you know to verify you.

You mention a good understanding of the hotwife situation but also that the wife has had a few bad meets could you possibly try a new approach to swinging maybe clubs socials or something other maybe.

It's an incredibly tough job here for the single men . It will be nothing like your couples account experience.

But it's free to try, so you're perhaps better jumping in, if you can't make swinging as a couple work for you. Set realistic expectations and be prepared to graft

"I don't think keeping the couples profile will give you some kind of advantage"

The title of the post was ‘Male of couple hanging single account - worth it’ so was asking should I set up a singles account. Maybe I didn’t explain it very well.

Obviously if your want to do your solo side missions you need to have a single profile. Is it worth it? Well what's your opinions? It seems to me its purely the choice of throw your hat into lone male pool or retire to me. The reality is its hard work as a lone male (single or not). So I guess it depends if you think the graft is worth the prize. Personally I'd yes, get a lone male profile and get out there.

If you read the original post the question was ‘is it worth setting up a singles account’ NOT should I swing from a couples profile.

Nobody can tell you if it’s worth it, only that if you want to play solo it’s the right thing to do, both in terms of ethics and site rules!

It won’t be easy, as people have already pointed out, just because of sheer numbers.

Cherry is verging on giving up too !. Far too many fakes and timewasters on here now. Couple we were meeting this weekend have just left site, a single guy now ghosting us before meeting it seems.... I Tony set up my own profile a while back when Cherry needed a break. Initially I had some good luck and a few repeat meets with two ladies . Yet the last few years this site has certainly gone downhill fast and most conversations on both profiles lead nowhere.

We have found it’s gone downhill or thought it might be our age too. Wife just couldn’t seem to find what she was looking for in a guy which was a bit of education and a bit of class. We seem to only find the rougher element of Fab which there is nothing wrong with but not the guys she would go for.

Couples we really struggled with too so that’s why she’s no longer playing. No doubt it’s hard. We’ll maybe try another ENM site to see if things are different.

I think its hard meeting couples, as half a couple we find it tough.

Its even harder to find a couple who are just looking for a straight partner swap too, hence our single accounts.

Good luck whatever you both decide.

“Worth it” is subjective….

I have my (this) solo male account, wife has her own and we have our couple profile.

Wife’s account gets huge attention, couples account gets a lot, my solo…. Not so much

If you are going to go to clubs and/or social events as a solo then yes quite worth it. If you are just sitting on fab hunting then as you already know we are just one of the many many many male accounts that gives couples and females the far reaching wide variety of choices. It’s brutal but is what it is

End of the day it boils down to your own expectations - best of luck

To be honest, mate. Your wife taking a back seat on the swinging side is going to have a massive impact on your ability to carry on in the lifestyle. Sure, you may get a bit lucky once every new millennium, or meet with others that enjoyed spending time with you both as a couple. But now you don't fill the criteria that most couples and singles are looking for. I would take the advice that's been given out to most men on here, and attend socials an clubs. Hope I'm wrong and you have a blast, though.

To be honest on our couples profile it was pretty much 99% guys contacting us so we rarely got the opportunity to meet couples either. We hadn’t played with a couple in years. Wife reckons she’s now had enough of Fab single guys but wants me to have some sexual adventures. She reckons it might be easier and quicker just paying a professional for those sexual encounters lol

Hi I've gone the other way from having a single profile to a couples profile with a lovely lady and now have both.

The single profile is actually easier to manage as if there is interest in it it is probably genuine

To be honest I know people are saying it's tough for a single male but I would go for it.

You will have contacts from your previous experiences and it is possible to meet loads of great people as a single guy if you are polite and respectful.

Good luck whatever you decide

I get that. On occasion I've wondered the same, especially as the older I get, the opportunities fade away, and for the ever elusive fmf. But it has to be about attraction to one another, there needs to be some chemistry.

Not sure if a paid service can provide that, it could be a cold transaction. Besides, there aren't that many doing it for the love of it, and it'd be in the back of my mind, worrying if it was her choice, or not.

I'm watching with interest, as I'm in exactly the same boat.

I think being a single guy in a club or on a website is a humbling experience, but at the same time it's just finding ways to express yourself.

Realistically paid professionals, esp higher class professionals , are probably in better shape than many of the people a mature single guy would meet on here. Don’t get me wrong, there are some people in their 50s who look after themselves but they are dwarfed by the number of ‘curvy’ people on the site. In our experience where we live anyway.

It might be a colder experience but some of the experiences we’ve had with couples and single guys have not been amazing either. This could be due to nerves or inexperience or just not clicking. On the up side there have been some great experiences too but you have to try to see what works I guess.

It’s tough either way I guess.

Actually yes and no. I say this because over the years we've meet a few single guys who get a lot of action and invites parties etc. In my experience a hand full of guys have the majority of the action. These are guys who tend to get well know and word of mouth spreads too. I think every club has one or two regular guys that loads of people know and who often get invited to join in. So maybe you could be one on them and maybe your experience on the scene could help. It always seems to me those guys who are regularly successful tend to be very comfortable in their own skin, have great people skills and just know how to read a room/vibe.

I have a single profile while my wife runs the couple profile. Only reason I set one up was to have one where I wasn’t constantly fielding questions that were mainly for her!

So it’s an account where I can browse and chat without all the admin and where it is more for me.

Having said that I don’t put myself out there that much so zero meets and no veris!

We meet however rarely on the couples acct

I think if your partner is totally out then morally you need to just set up a single one. However, if she still goes to clubs and parties then I'd keep the couples one and explain it. You will find you don't get much luck with the single one I fear. My husband had one for a bit and would get daily views in the teens whereas our couples one has had 800+ in a day when new pics and vids have been uploaded. Best of luck either way and I am sorry she's had bad experiences 😔

OP; listing up a solo male profile in here costs you nothing but time, and while you won’t enjoy a fraction of the attention you will have received as a couple, you can meet people through this site, so you have nothing to lose!

You also have CJ’s and Ecclesia on your doorstep, and whilst I would rarely recommend the club scene for a single male, you won’t be going out of your way to hang out in either of these, so why not?

With all things in life; if in doubt, do it. You’ll never find out otherwise…….

So while we said ‘Male having SINGLE profile’ in this post it seems someone complained to admin about us using a couples account to meet people as a single guy. We have NEVER done this and despite NO evidence of us messaging anyone, multiple female pics and verifications as a couple that ‘complaint’ has led to our paid couples account being converted to a single guy account. WTF !!!

Very unprofessional of a company doing this to a paid customer. Poor show Fab but then this post will probably be deleted by them because you cannot criticise the organisation even if it’s to help them improve.

This is the pertinent part of your post in which you clearly state your wife is retiring from swinging. Admin read the forums so probably nobody complained.
