Hi..just after some advice.

I'm very comfortable being naked around other people whether they are clothed or naked and I'd love to get into life modelling.

Are there any art, drawing, painting or camera clubs in the Lancashire/North West area that are open for new models to attend?

Look forward to hearing about any info/advice you may have.

Many thanks.

I've done it a few times. 2 x 45 mins sessions with same pose on a cushion

Get your pose comfy as possible.

Would love to do this but the fear of getting a hardon puts me off

Honestly...I've been naked among other people before and getting hard without any manual help is unlikely..

I've done it a few times, was doing it last night. Not Erotic whatsoever, even with 7 women drawing me. Avoid eye contact and stay professional

I regularly life model for a few art groups. I know it sounds elementary but being able to keep a pose is key. It is also very difficult unless you do it regularly.

Poses tend to start with a few short ones - couple of minutes or so and then the usually increase to 10,15 mins and then a final pose of around 45 mins.

You will see many art groups on Instagram - look there and reach out.

Cap d’Agde, France

Whether you’re comfortable being naked around clothed people is mostly irrelevant.

A good model has to be able to relax into the pose and stay still for 20 - 30 minutes.

I’ve taught life drawing for many years at FE, Uni and adult level in the Uk and only a few models can do this.

In France where I now live the standard of models is very good with many being able to hold complex and demanding poses.

As a footnote, in 40 years teaching and drawing I’ve never seen a male model with a hard-on.
