Hi all! Hope everyone has had a wonderful week and are looking forward to the weekend as much as I am.

Apologies if this sort of post is a frequent one but I’m hoping to find some insight.

I am interested in attending a club for the first time in the near future but I’m a little nervous. Not really sure what to expect and I don’t want to become the lost little puppy in the corner 😂

Any tips on how to go about breaking the nerves of attending a club/party for the first time would be greatly appreciated x

Make sure you choose your club and event wisely (some are easier than others for single men), have your membership sorted before turning up and that you follow the club's dress code.

If there's a hot tub, it's usually a good place to strike a conversation.

Some clubs/events have chat groups on various platforms beforehand, could be a good way of getting to know people a bit.

Sometimes it might be easier to get people to approach you and talk to you rather than trying to approach others. This can be achieved in a variety of ways. One could be via wearing some interesting clothing/underwear. Another- by using "props", like floggers etc., but only if that's your "thing".

Be yourself. Chat to people, be affable, don't expect any play, don't follow couples about to try to catch their eye.
