Hi folk, wee question for you. I'm looking at men's profile which say straight but then it says looking for women & tv's. Surely a straight man would not be looking to have sex with a tv? These profiles should say bicurious?

I get loads of messages from straight guys in which their profiles state they’re only looking for women.

So at least the guys putting down they’re looking for TV/TS are being honest. Also a post op Trans Woman could be seen as a heterosexual meet as she no longer has a penis so the guy can still claim to be straight.

It’s a shame they can’t separate the TV/TS which would indicate if it’s a TS rather than a TV they want to meet.

I would state a lot of guys on here can be fully straight or fab straight, you’ll never know.

We've always said that too, they're just kidding themselves. They probably think that if a guy they have sex with dresses as a woman it doesn't count and they can still class themselves as straight.

It's a very limited perspective that tries to limit the billions of people in the world to 3 or 3 sexual orientations, as well as ignoring how people are attracted to femininity, for example and personality. People may have gynosexualit. And they may also view gender more flexibly than others. Some cultures don't perceive just 2 genders either.

Thanks to all for answering.

Don't shoot me down but in the simplified form if you are remotely interested in someone of the same sex - and to avoid any confusion -

A woman attracted to a woman

A man attracted to a man

Regardless of what they're wearing or what they identity as..

Then listing as 'straight' is being dishonest and misleading.

No, I'm not being narrow minded, so don't get all defensive or attack me.

Personally, I'm looking for a genuinely 'straight' man.

Oh, and as an add on - the number of men that have a straight profile and a bi profile. Just be honest, please. Come on, behave yourselves.

I would guess either not wanting to admit in "public" (even on Fab) or they think it will affect their chances of meeting a woman. Each to their own. Up to everyone what they put on their profile, they jsut need to read and respect what others put on their's.Block lists are there for a reason!
