Polyamory or my beard? What's putting ladies off the most?

Hello

I had a few meets when I lived in the midlands, then since moving upto the high peak during lockdown I haven't had much luck.

I am married, but my wife is disabled and not cable of physical intimacy anymore. Because of that we chose to go down the polyamory/ ethical non monogamy. I am totally honest about this. In the midlands it didn't seem to be an issue. Here I don't even get a reply half the time.

My appearance, maybe I should shave my beard, but I'm not cutting my hair, my wife loves it.

Do I need to update my profile?

Help not sure what I need to change?

There’s nothing in your profile that relates to polyamory, so it can’t be that.

You’re looking for repeat meets, which is what pretty much every other single guy is looking for, so you have a ridiculous amount of competition and relatively few women & couples. Geography might also be against you, which obviously you can’t help. Real-life events might be an easier road to travel.

Is it a false dichotomy that you've chosen? You're a different person now, compared with when you were elsewhere too. And Fab and its users' needs etc have changed too.

Perhaps there's a 1% chance of a mutually compatible match. How well do you think you give others the ability to know what you might do for them? You may discuss the practicalities of your marriage and how people could speak with her. But why would it even get that far, unless they'd know why you could possibly be any good for them? This especially, when others don't bring this baggage along - they're single, etc.

Like all of the single men here, you need to be prepared to invest and to able to give others what they need.

Being honest I wouldn’t meet you due to you being married etc not because of your appearance. Don’t change yourself for others

Carlisle usually

There's a pretty big difference in population density there.

I met a lot more people when I lived nearer the middle of the country than I do on the outer borders.
