Replies are very seldom to do with displaying face pics. There are a multitude of profiles without face pics

It’s about a profile as a whole plus how the first message is composed, that does not guarantee you a reply either

Perhaps only 1% of people are mutually compatible with each other, so the majority of people will not match you nor reply to you, as no reply = no thanks. Assuming that you get your message right, they'll take a good decision on whether you are right for them. Only you can know if you are doing this well.

Probably fewer people want a FB, nor is it as easy to get, as a nonFB type partner. Your wanting this could influence your results, so take decisions wisely.

A common complaint about men's profiles is that they are mainly about what they want and less so, about what they are bringing to an arrangement. The other side can only know if someone is right, if they truly know what the person would have brought to the engagement. They can't know or compare what you offer, with what they need. You've got to give them pics, so they can truly assess whether they'd want physical contact with your physical self. Likewise, your personality. Those are amongst the challenges you have. Take small steps and improve things, as you learn and progress.

It's fine to experiment with ideas, to compare your results
