We are an inexperienced couple(but not shy)lol. We are going to visit Cham's in B'ham New Years Eve. Is this a bad night for a first club visit? Any advice?

We've never been to a club, however, once we gain the courage we'll give Chams a visit, pity this site doesn't offer vetted chaperones, maybe it's something admin could consider.

It took us ages to go to a club and it wasn't what we expected at all!!! Chams is lovely and I'm sure you'd have a good time if you went there.Z

chams is excellent and no need to nervous there as we think its very relaxed. heard newyears eve is very busy, but might be more fun lol

Thanks for the reply, we'll give Chams a try as it's the nearest one to us, do you know if we'd get in as a MM cpl, or will they treat us as 2 single guys?

We never been to Chams but we have been to other clubs,personally think uts best to go to a club as there is no pressure to play,you can just watch,chat to others and if feel comfortable with it all join in.

before u go to a club look at the comments on the clubs...and also listen in on the chatrooms...ask questions and u get replies...we have been to some and found to Partners in Bury is one of the safest and cleanest...but each club is different and everyone has different tastes.... laughs we know how hard it is to go to a club first one was Cupid Manchester...dont recommend at all was like jumping of a bridge...no help, no showing around and hmm loads of single men... since then we go on cpls night to clubs...

Chams was our very first swinging experience nearly 5 years ago now. We have been to quite a few clubs now but Chams remains No1 as far as we are concerned.

Have been NYE and it is very busy indeed but for sure you wont be put under any pressure - ENJOY

It's a pleasure, we've been to a lot of clubs and will travel to Chams even though it's a long drive as it is very clean with a lovely and diverse clientele! I don't know about how you'd get in but would hazard a guess at 2 single guys but give them a ring to see what they say! Z

2 guys visiting chameleons be they in a long term relationship or just mates are classed as 2 single guys.

To that end you should note that the average waiting time for new single male memberships is 6 months.

It is better to mail the club sending pictures, details of experience with clubs, details of sites you belong to and any other information you have that might help your membership application.

Pictures help because the club tries to keep the balances right, at some times they are looking for more older members, at other times more younger members, sometimes there is a shortage of larger people and at other times a shortage of slimmer people etc.

You could go on the "bi-sexual nights" where you dont need full membership (Monday Nights) there is a reduced cost Monday night only membership fee.

You might also want to consider the sister club "the Greenhouse" around the corner which is a gay sauna owned by the same company and regularly voted the best in europe

would just like to reitterate what the other posters have already said. Chams is a great club, very relaxed and you will find the dress code very liberating

. It's a 550 mile round trip for us, but well worth it. We always make new friends everytime we go. Check out the website and choose your visit. if you play with singles, any time is good but couples only is Saturday night.

At the end of the day though, whether or not you have a good time will be down to you, but you can be sure that everybody there will be looking to enjoy themselves, so just go with the flow.

If you are a couple attending Chameleons for the first time on NYE you need to arrive around 6pm as the club is too busy to do new memberships after 7pm, it is the busiest night of the year

sorry to drag this thread back up again but that just cought my eye

Personally i think that on mondays (bi night for anyone who dont go lol) if your a 'real' male couple, and have id to prove you live at the same address they should offer a MM couple membership, only for bi nighst tho and many male couples use chams to meet other men and if they are a couple i feel it only fair they get the same offers as any other couple

just my thought
