It says on our profile text we don't check winks, or as the police man from Allo Allo says 'wonks' but still the numbers on our winks rise. Sometimes we do check who couldn't be arsed to read our profile

We tend to forget about winks in all honesty.

A well written concise profile comes before winks/messages to us. It will dictate if we even read your messages.

We always message rather than wink if a profile grabs our eye. Winking is half arsed and you never get anywhere being half arsed about things.

You see loads of people complaining on here that single men are seen to be bugging them in clubs so most of some will hang back and wait "

We see single men walking up and down at clubs and most couples we speak to wonder why oh why don't they just stop and chat. So our experience is the opposite, couples want people to say hello and chat. Just like winks get most people no where, not speaking has the same outcome. Maybe it's just us, we are the same in any social setting, we like interacting with people.

If we didn't want guys around us we would attend a couples/fems night.

What does creep us out is the guys who follow you around without chatting to you.

I don't look at winks or I requested friend requests. I respond to messages that appear to have read my profile and appear from the visible snippets of the message to be compatible with what I'm looking for.

The rest plays out as it will..

This right here!! I have, and do approach couples in clubs all the time myself… some are very warm & open which is great, sometimes that leads to more sometimes it doesn’t. Others will be cold and standoffish… when the latter occurs I just politely thank them for the time, wish them well and go about my evening enjoying myself.

Meanwhile online it’s totally different. Messaging will have me feeling like I’m one of many tadpoles in a gigantic ocean a lot of the time.

We ignore winks completely. All you can do when you receive a wink is go and look at the profile it came from. Unfortunately, 95% of the profiles on Fab don't tell us what we need to know in order to be interested in fucking them. So that gets us nowhere. We don't even look at our winks anymore.
