Thank goodness I have friends on here who tell me if they see my pics on other profiles on here. Ever with watermarks they still try and cover it up. Happens way too often. Pictures will just have to be for friends only going forward, would hate people to have a bad experience with a fake profile using my pics.

It happened to me. It's theft. It feels violating if I'm honest. I sent it in good faith after a few messages to arrange a meet then "BAM!",blocked. A lady who I met a lot, got a message with my picture attached and that's how I found out.

All this happened on a previous profile which is why I now have a vigorous profile before I send a picture.

A shame really,as I've met wonderful people who are very understanding on here bit be warned, the scum who infest this site for picture stealing are rife!. Be very carefull who you send your pics too, faces and other body parts too.

Some years ago someone 'duplicated' my entire profile - all of my photos and the text virtually word-for-word - right here on Fab...

....the only things changed were username, age and location - it was very annoying, yet at the same time, flattering!

They do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Hard to imagine why anyone would steal a picture of a close up of us DVPing. My guess is they wanted to impress and say. oooooh look at us. We do DVP.

We approached them and shared the same piccy from our gallery and needless to say they disappeared.

p.s we have done it but it can seem a bit like playing twister. In the end you just end up collapsing in a heap and have fits of laughter.
