Hi, are there any ladies on here who've had a thigh lift or tummy tuck? I've recently lost a huge amount of weight and my thighs and tummy are very wobbly now and I have loose skin. I'm thinking of getting a tummy tuck but also thinking of having my thighs tightened but having had a look into it, it's a big scar from knee to groin so I'm wondering if anyone on here has had it and share their experience?

Yes, had a tummy tuck and uplift to deal with loose skin for the same reason as you.

I decided against a thigh lift due to the common healing issues. More so with the groin area.

My tummy tuck was an extended one which helped lift my thighs but very minimally.

I’m not really happy with them but decided to try and embrace some jiggle. x

Does that mean you were cut full circle, back and front for the tummy tuck? I don't have any loose skin on my back it's just the lower tummy area. Wary of the thigh lift for the reason you stated.

No, the extended is across and on to the hips. It sorted out the side areas of loose skin I had there.

I was given other options but went with what the surgeon recommended was best and I’m really happy with the results.

The thighs are a difficult one aren't they? I’ve read so much in to it (as you do) and my surgeon gave me the vibes that it’s not as straightforward as it seems. But then I know someone who had them done and they didn’t have any issues.

Think I'll do the mummy makeover, boobs and belly then see how I feel after that.
