Juno walks with a crutch during fibro flares and it has never put anyone off.

A lot depends on you, OP. Your confidence levels, the amount of pain you're in etc. I had meets after I broke my knee, badly - including with new people as that's when I met my partner.

Like with everything, communication is key.
