I still had meets when I was in a walking boot with broken ankle! Made some positions a bit awkward but was a laugh trying

Juno walks with a crutch during fibro flares and it has never put anyone off.

A lot depends on you, OP. Your confidence levels, the amount of pain you're in etc. I had meets after I broke my knee, badly - including with new people as that's when I met my partner.
