Virginal prolapse

Hi

Around 18 months ago as I massaged my wifes sex lips and gradually toom my fingers in I noted an odd feeling but we were excited and I had fucked her and though no more. Over the months and then 2 months ago my wife was feeling lumps like stuff what at times she washed and massaged her vagina in the bath.

Went to docs, he had a look and said as per title of thread and referred her to the gynaecology dept and said "nothing to worry about."

Initial hospital appt is early January 2025

Reading the web, not sure what to beleive and not

Would a vibrator that was smaller than what mrs can take or max size help to slow down or improve this condition?

We've read up on exercises but she gets worn out trying to suck on her dildo with her vagina

Any members here that have had this problem and were able to mange it for years with exercises/vibrators etc or nurse doctors here that can give good advice to slow this down

As I can't edit posts - reading stuff on the web - they said its ok to have sex - but as i said, not sure re other stuff ie vibrator and then pull on this with sex muscles if it really works or not. Thanks in advance

I used to work with sheep it happens quite often around giving birth ,there was a plastic loop that could be inserted to hold everything in while the animal recovered

There are loads of options, but, not wanting to be unhelpful, I would take zero advice from internet randomers when we do not know the exact details - I would go back to your GP to see what they suggest to carry over until the specialist appointment. Other peoples’ experience is irrelevant.

As above but ask GP if Kegel balls would be helpful. They are weighted balls that are inserted into the vagina and females squeeze/clench to hold them in for a few seconds, release, rest, repeat. I have some and find them helpful with pelvic floor weakness. They are used once a day and would be much easier then holding a sextoy in place. They are in 3 different weights and female works up to the heaviest.

I have kegel8 ones which I bought but they are available free too from NHS..

Whilst waiting for your specialist, seek further advice from your GP, who has examined her. That's the only opinion that counts, as they will understand how she is and can form advice based on her reality

Im pretty sure what they use is a pressary for that. Im not sure if they are used in the same way kegals are used but they are usually whats used for a prolapse

I’m sorry that your wife has to wait until January.

They will probably insert a ring pessary to hold the neck of the womb in place.

As long as they get the size of the ring correct this is usually pretty effective in correcting the prolapse.

In the meantime as someone suggested your wife could use Kegal balls to help strengthen her pelvic floor muscles.
