Ideally Im looking for anyone around my own age or slightly younger or older.....

18 isn't slightly younger so maybe that could be rewrote?

I think it’s pretty decent text.

You could consider more photos.

You mention clubs. Are you able to get verifications from people you’ve met there, socially or otherwise? It’s not a magic bullet but it can help.

Alas. Ive not actually met anyone. Part of the reason why I was questioning the profile as I wondered if this was a reason.

I do go to clubs and I have chatted to people though. One great couple from Oxford but I didnt get their names!

It’s the club interactions I meant - next time, regardless of whether or not you play, if you get into conversation I’d recommend asking if they would be happy to verify you.

Seems a pretty solid profile to me OP but of course I’m not your target demographic

If anything, I’d say get rid of your most recent pic… most women and couples tend to find action shots of a random woman on a single guys profile to be distasteful

Yeah, she took the photo. She is a fwb and has come to a club with me before (just out of curiosity) but I don’t think she is ready to dip a toe just yet.

Your profile text is spot on, better than most.

However you are a faceless profile, in a sea of faceless profiles. You cannot accommodate, and thus look like you are attached. So most looking at your profile will pass you by.

It’s either, posting your face, getting your own place so you can accom, or putting in the hard graft.

Fab is all about being in the right place right time. Keep an eye on updates local to you, build up a hotlist of people who constantly post they are up for meets, and match your preferences, then hopefully your stars will align and have a successful meet.
