"We’re not too sure if this post is appropriate or even of interest to anyone but we felt if it helped one person then we should write it. Over the last 2 years Sam has been complaining of tiredness. As he works a reasonably physical job and he’s getting on a bit, initially we just dismissed it as getting a bit older. The tiredness continued so Sam bit the bullet and went to his GP. He explained his symptoms and the GP took bloods and sent them off. The bloods came back clear, but the tiredness persisted. Over this time Sam started losing interest in being intimate. It wasn’t a lack of interest in Delilah but a complete lack of interest in sex, checking out women, everything. Sam was always a horny little toad so this was a huge shift in how he felt about himself. Delilah was very supportive but obviously had her concerns. She was confused as their relationship had always been very physical. Sam returned to his GP, this time he had to see a locum. He told the locum (a younger female Dr.) all his symptoms including the drop in his libido and lack of interest in sex. He found it quite difficult to discuss this with a doctor he didn’t know but went into detail. Bloods were taken again and Sam headed home. A few of weeks later during one of Delilah and Sam’s rare intimate moments Sam lost his erection completely during sex. He was distraught. Sam has always been very sexual and would have been very connected to his sexuality. This had never happened before and Sam didn’t take it well. Sam returned to the surgery, seeing the initial GP and told him about his inability to preform. The GP looked at the bloods and said no testosterone levels had been taken. He took bloods again and sent them off. Sams testosterone levels came back the following week and they were very low. The GP prescribed a testosterone gel and viagra ( just in case ). Within 10 days Sam was feeling better, his energy levels were up as well as other things . After 2 months taking the gel things are starting to return to normal. We just thought it important to tell our story just in case there are other couples out there that could be going through the same thing. Basically the moral of the story is just like women, men can also go through hormonal changes in middle age so if you’re feeling out of sorts, go to your GP and get checked out and if it persists keep going back till you get it sorted. Don’t be a donkey like old Sam and stick your head in the sand (Sam loves a mixed metaphor) be a horny little toad like new Sam. Thanks for reading D&S" thanks for posting guys best wishes to you both i had help from local sexual health clinic when medic said i didnt seem myself and was i all right i broke down got fantastic support about things i was bottling up including counselling etc never forgot kindness

"We met this couple this week in PDI and he had my Mrs and his Mrs both in heaven , he is a maestro with his techniques, according to my Mrs , he is charming and knows exactly how to please a lady (really well). At one stage her eyes were rolling in her head from his pussy knowledge. " Thank you, it’s great when we have a ladies eyes rolling for the right reasons. I wouldn’t worry about the comment above, just another troll trying to be relevant.

"I've been constantly overly tired with next to no sex drive for many years and I always feel so depressed but I don't have the energy or motivation to go to a doctor though I probably should. I do work though. A lot of the time I feel quite confused and disoriented. Like right now I'm sat in a dark room with no tv or anything just with my phone, and I don't have the energy or interest to put a light on. Been here since about 12. I don't know why I'm mentioning this since I doubt it's to do with hormones" If you’re feeling that low dude, it would be best to speak to a healthcare professional. If you take that first step, things may improve but improvement is less likely if you do nothing.

Just said try some anti-depressants, which I tried. They did absolutely nothing
