Couples on the forums and in messages

I've noticed some of the couples on the forums use an initial, so people know which of the 2 posted.

I really like this, I assume it's the male of the couple otherwise.

The same with my inbox, I 'assume' it is the male half. I just had a snotty response from the 'female' half of the couple. I 'assumed' it was the male so she got the hump Does anyone else 'assume' it is the male?

Completely the opposite, I've lost count of the times im in chat when a pm pops up telling me i have great tits. I thank them for the complement and tell them that Nick's are better. It goes all quiet after that.

It's always me L in the forums and if you receive a longish chatty message with kisses at the end. If A sends.a message it's usually brief and to the point lol.

We state in our profile that I (Bob) maintain the couple profile while Angie has a single one. Plus whenever messages are sent I put a name on the end and a couple of kisses xx lol

I learnt very quickly that assumption (especially with couples) isn't wise.

I don't assume anything, i either ask or let them specify who i'm chatting to. Always.

It's generally me who posts on the forums and answers the messages.

Folks who know us tend to know if its not me who posts due to the lack of lol/ / xx etc etc

It is annoying tho to receive messages which are clearly meant for the female of the couple only.

It's always Blondie on the forums, and in messages I will sign it.

Mr X always says if it looks like it's been typed by a five year old, it's from him lol!

The number of messages we've had from blokes though that just assume it's me! I've even put on our profile that unless stated otherwise we will assume they're talking to both of us.

Forums, crystal signs off, I rarely do unless we both post on the same thread.

Mesage wise, inevitably if someone makes an assumption it will be that they are talking to crystal and it's pretty much guarantees a no reply. We address couples as couples and expect the same courtesy back, certainly in the early stages. This does evolve and their are people that we message regularly as individuals but these are people we've met or plan too meet.

Assumptions are rarely a positive thing.

On here its mostly me, jules, I always end with a x. Message wise, depends who we are chatting to and content of messages, dave signs it Dx me jules, or jules and dave, there now im cobfused xx

I get it's annoying that messages to couples are aimed at the female but I'm a single and I'm not looking for couples.

99% of the time it is the male half who emails me, I just get fed up of asking who I am talking to, and getting a username in return

I find it funny when they ask in email if the female half will respond or ring... I must be letting my 'male half' out too often but I dont initial my emails as well they are my emails. If I were 1 of 2 I think I would

Received a message from a single guy who assumed he was talking to S. C let him carry on for a bit before asking if he was into guys and he should check who is online before all the flattery! He still didn't realise it was C online til i sent him a message spelling it out! He quickly deleted the messages and i quickly hit the block button. Always let C reply to messages that start hi babe/hun etc

I always sign my forum posts and PMs, even if it is just my initial. My first contact PMs I usually put my name any after just N.

I find if we have been chatting with a couple I can usually tell who is writing just by their phrasing.

I do get mildly irritated by couples who send us a message but don't sign it, basic courtesy I would have thought

I think after a while you can tell who it is. Over a year ago I met a couple I'm not bi but thought will try it wasn't for me. The male kept txtin wanted to meet me. He was nice I said no he then sent a txt from his wifes fone sayin I'm happy for him to meet u alone. I knew it was him so u said ring me then. No phone call lol.
