Hi All;

I'm going to be working up in Shrewsbury in a few weeks time, and wonder if anyone can tell me which hotels to use/avoid should I be lucky enough to arrange meets while I am there? Thanks.

Monmouth

There's a 'Hilton by Hampton' (if they're still called that) off the A5 which has that nice 'total anonymity and lack of character' that can be quite reassuring for meets, but it's not a very nice place, in the middle of an industrial estate as so many of those type are. It's cheap though, and has big beds.

At the other end of the spectrum is Cromwells in the town centre which has some awesome rooms with fourposters and lots of fun furniture to tie each other to, should that be your penchant. Other uses for four poster beds are available
