Someone messaged claiming to know us upon questioning them they quoted rajas name and blocked us.......has freaked us out a little. Anyone had similar experiences?

Yes, however, I managed to find out the identity of the person involved.

We respect each other's privacy, and that was that.

Yes we did.

We know they weren't the person they claimed to be and they had set up two profiles which we reported as fakes

They knew a lot of personal info but we are still none the wiser who it actually was

We have reported it to admin but we are worried. Don't know how anyone can deduce knowing us from the pictures on our profile.

actually happened to me just this week! Although we've swapped numbers rather than block lol!

What would Admin do about it?

The one who contacted the OP has every right to be on FAB as much as the OP, and they have done nothing wrong except to ping a PM and said he/she/they know the OP, then prevented them from messaging back.

Perhaps they do not wish to be ousted themselves, hence they do not wished to be contacted?!

It can feel a little sinister if someone does that, quoting names etc. you mentioned a name here might you have done it before and they just remembered? The annoying thing is that you have no way to contact them so you're left wondering.

If you're concerned about consequences hide your profile for a while and look bemused by any strange question.

We've never nor wud we ever quote real name of anyone on fab, rani and raja are made up names, however they both have an Indian origin to signify our origins (hope that makes sense)

If this person didn't wish to be 'ousted' then why not simply leave us alone? Clearly their intentions are to make us aware they know us, or at least raja, by message us rajas real name. This person clearly has sinister intents! A bit sad and pathetic really, none the less its worrying, stressful and a little scary.

Admin would be able to monitor the account that by everyone's reckoning apart from yours have acted poorly.

If they did not wish to be "ousted" (sic). Then maybe they should not have sent an obvious taunt before hiding behind the cloak of blocking.

Living here in Guernsey it happens all the time, you message someone you get along you chat some more you swap pics and low and behold you went to school with them worked with them or just know them through a friend.

We are meeting a couple next week who I know from an old job, known each other for years but never knew each other was into swinging.
