So, after a spell during which I have been shaving down below most days, I am considering the alternatives including hair removal creams, laser hair removal and waxing. Wondering if I should just bite the bullet and try waxing

Have any gents got experience of waxing their intimate parts they would be able to share? We are talking cock, balls and pubic area. It can't be THAT bad can it??

Waxing is very painful especially when you first start having it done.

The only thing you can do is try it and see how you get on, if it's too painful you don't have to try it again.

As for the hair removal aspect you'll rarely be 100% hair free with wax, as you have to wait 3-4 weeks in between so the hair is long enough for the wax to grip.

But I wouldn't ever go back to shaving now after having waxed for so long.

It's so much better for your skin and the hair grows back silkier so no harsh stubble or spiky hairs x

I get back done now and again, bum and crack. More you get it done the less hair grows back. It can be uncomfortable but I just amuse myself as the beautician deals with moving my cock around as I get stiff. Defo recommend. No stubble.

I got a body trimmer specifically to be used in water and on intimate areas and balls, can set the length too! Got it on Amazon and it's really good,

If you want it even closer, get a Babylis foil trimmer for abiut £40 which will take it down to like a wet shave length without the irritation! But defo don't wanna try it on your ballls as it's very powerful! The body trimmer for down there will be fine! Trim the pubes as low as can go with the body trimmer then use the foil shaver!

I’ve tried a number of ways of hair removal .. and occasionally have had a back wax … even though I’m not that hairy there in the first place!!

I have however always returned to my trusty Gillette Venus lady shave. Nothing seems to leave me feeling as wonderfully smooth, so just use it every few days or so.

After having been told my danglies looked like an elderly rastafarian I decided to take the plunge and buy some of this as previous shaving attempts had only been mildly successful and I nearly put my back out trying to reach the more difficult bits.

Being a bit of a romantic I thought I would do the deed on the missus's birthday as a bit of a treat.I ordered it well in advance and working in the North sea I considered myself a bit above some of the characters writing the previous reviews and wrote them off as soft office types...oh my fellow sufferers how wrong I was.

I waited until the other half was tucked up in bed and after giving some vague hints about a special surprise I went down to the bathroom. Initially all went well and I applied the gel and stood waiting for something to happen. I didn't have long to wait.

At first there was a gentle warmth which in a matter of seconds was replaced by an intense burning and a feeling I can only describe as like being given a barbed wire wedgie by two people intent on hitting the ceiling with my head.

Religion hadn't featured much in my life until that night but I suddenly became willing to convert to any religion to stop the violent burning around the turd tunnel and what seemed like the destruction of the meat and two veg.

Struggling to not bite through my bottom lip I tried to wash the gel of in the sink and only succeeded in blocking the plughole with a mat of hair.Through the haze of tears I struggled out of the bathroom across the hall into the kitchen by this time walking was not really possible and I crawled the final yard to the fridge in the hope of some form of cold relief.

I yanked the freezer drawer out and found a tub of ice cream, tore the lid of and positioned it under me. The relief was fantastic but only temporary as it melted fairly quickly and the fiery stabbing soon returned.

Due to the shape of the ice cream tub I hadn't managed to give the starfish any treatment and I groped around in the draw for something else as I was sure my vision was going to fail fairly soon. I grabbed a bag of what I later found out was frozen sprouts and tore it open trying to be quiet as I did so. I took a handful of them and tried in vain to clench some between the cheeks of my arse.

This was not doing the trick as some of the gel had found it's way up the chutney channel and it felt like the space shuttle was running it's engines behind me.This was probably and hopefully the only time in my life I was going to wish there was a gay snowman in the kitchen which should give you some idea of the depths I was willing to sink to in order to ease the pain.

The only solution my pain crazed mind could come up with was to gently ease one of the sprouts where no veg had gone before.

Unfortunately, alerted by the strange grunts coming from the kitchen the other half chose that moment to come and investigate and was greeted by the sight of me, arse in the air, strawberry ice cream dripping from my bell end pushing a sprout up my arse while muttering..." Ooooh that feels good "

Understandingly this was a shock to her and she let out a scream and as I hadn't heard her come in it caused an involuntary spasm of shock in myself which resulted in the sprout being ejected at quite some speed in her direction.

I can understand that having a sprout farted against your leg at 11 at night in the kitchen probably wasn't the special surprise she was expecting and having to explain to the kids the next day what the strange hollow in the ice cream was didn't improve my status...

So to sum it up Veet removes hair, dignity and self respect....... :-

The secret I’ve found is get shaved and smooth and keep it up. I’ve got a Gillette ladies razor and have a little shave most days in the shower. I do the same on my legs and armpits. Naturally not very hairy I guess I’m quite lucky but remaining consistent with a beauty regime downstairs does work.

I (making) get waxed occasionally, last week but the most recent occasion. I see a very efficient lady in Hastings who specialises in male intimate waxing. An hour before I go I take paracetamol just to take the edge off.

I’m fairly hairy and hadn’t been got a while but a good waxer will make it a smooth (no pun intended) process. I’ve never had an erection whilst having it done, and rather surprised people can. The pain is short and sharp, I could carry on a conversation until the brief moments when the wax comes off. There’s no lingering pain though, just think a plaster being pulled off.

I would suggest finding someone that specialises in males though. There’s plenty around aiming at the pink pound.

All over wax is my preference every eight or so weeks. Midway between I generally Veet when showering.

The more you get waxed the finer the hairs become and the less painful it is (no pain no gain!)

For facial hair, I tried facial hair removal creams with very little success, IPL (intense pulsed light) which reduced the darkness of hairs, and am now undergoing Electrolysis every 4-6 weeks, which has had a dramatic effect on the thickness of visible hairs and reduced the necessity to shave as often as previously. None of the treatments are totally painless and like previously mentioned Paracetemol and Ibuprofen are your best friends before the treatment xx K

Got one a few months ago, I get the perfect results every time. Very very minimal catching of “parts”.

Now obviously, it’s not going to be as smooth as a wax or laser, but it does a pretty damn good job!!

I use hair removal cream but I don’t like the spatula as it’s like a blunt razor! Hair stays of longer and grows back finer to start with than shaving. No cuts is a bonus to!

“No hair down there” from Amazon put it on dry leave for 5 then scrape off with spatula. Has never burned meat n veg but have found inner thighs start to cook if it spreads there!
