Has anyone had to remove some of their remaining stitches? If so, how did you do it instead of going to the GP?

In my post op brochure, it does say I can do it myself strangely enough. Wanted to see the best approach and my GP surgery is a 6 week wait to get into.

I'm 3 weeks post op now and I've still got a few left that don't look like they're dissolving. So I thought I'd ask.
