We've been using black rings on our right ring fingers as a discreet way to identify ourselves amongst fellow swingers. However, we're curious, is this a known thing, or just something we read online?

Do you use black rings, or is there another sign you rely on? Are black rings a thing in our community, or are we on our own with this one?

Black rings on the right hand are a thing (4th finger I believe) similar to a wedding ring on the left hand. If we go to the pub etc we often wear a pineapple pin badge upside down xx

We both have black rings on right hand (they are also contactless payment rings so very handy - RingPay). Never been approached by other swingers due to them though, so guess it’s not that a well known sign.

I wear a bi coloured wrist tie and to date no-one has commented on it. I do get more comments when I wear my lgbt rainbow coloured kilt. Maybe I just now need a pineapple logo on my jumper.

Never heard of black rings, I've only heard the hot wife anklets, pineapple & pampers grass.

However if I spotted a "swinger sign" of someone I'd never approach them in public, fab life and vanilla life stay seperate.

A friend sent me a news article once basically saying how flamingos were a swingers symbol as I have a flamingo vase and ornament in my window...

Looking at your verifications OP it’s obvious that you’ve been swingers for many years and you’ve been to loads of swingers clubs and group meets, so I’d have thought you’d have been able to see from the many, many swingers you would have met or been in the same room as whether or not wearing a black ring is common amongst swingers or not. Have you seen many other swingers wearing them when you’ve been at the clubs? If you have never seen any other swingers wearing them then it would suggest that it’s not a recognised sign and if you’re asking whether anyone else wears them or is it just you then that suggests that you’ve never seen anyone else wearing them.
