Apparently some members are getting distances in x minutes walk away & touching distance. The closest we ever get is quarter of a mile despite being around others. How can we change this?

Your most accurate identification will come from having your device configured to provide the most accurate location, as well as the other users you may be interested in likewise. Fab approximates location, to prevent users from being inadvertently identified, which could have issues with stalking etc. As much as you may want something, it's still worth being cautious, as some people have been stalked and harmed. People in very rural areas are much easier to identify, where only a tiny amount of homes and roads exist.

I've seen other threads re touching distance and the answer was that's on Fab Guys not this site.
