Sex Drive Vitamins/Supplements

Hi Guys,

I've recently got into looking into various vitamins and supplements for either low testosterone and general health, and I was just wondering what everyone else is taking to improve their general health and most importantly, sex drive as well.

Does anyone take any of these?

Thanks,

Testosterone, nothing better.

If concerned your levels are low get checked out. Plenty of online companies offering tests on the mail and will prescribe testosterone if your levels are low.

Alternatively go through NHS but expect a long road to getting diagnosed and treatment

Tongkat Ali, it's meant to boost testosterone.

I tried and maybe works, not sure if placebo or something else.

Also, before supplements, try lots of sleep. That's a major thing according to science.

For supplements I use British Supplements, I seem to trust them.

It's so weird because I had sex a couple/few weeks ago and it was great, didn't climax too early as well. And now I just feel my drive has gone off a cliff and I'm now trying to sort of force the sex drive..

Vitamin D. Be careful what sort you get because its not all as easily absorbed by the body. Beware of buying random things online.

Get your testosterone and vitamin D levels checked. Mr M had a massive D vitamin deficiency which gave him ED issues..our doctors put him on 40,000ui of D vitamin a week on prescription

I nearly read that wrong. 40,000 per week, I read is as per day. Large doses are usually only given for a short period as vit D is toxic so remember to get it reviewed

The only thing I have found has a positive effect on my test levels has been when I get into a quite aggressive strength building routine.

My test and horn increases, but I don't routinely test my test levels so could be a random fluctuation, but my horn definitely increases with the progressively heavy sessions.

Look at TRT if it's a medical problem.

They do say exercise can raise your testosterone levels for sure

I’m genuinely doing much better since looking after myself a bit more and taking various vitamin supplements. Still, need to improve on some things such as exercise but I’m not obese or in bad shape.. still, I would like to improve on it somehow

Plenty of sleep and get blood tests for general vitamins etc.

Vitamin D almost certainly will be low so consider that.

Creatine is well tested and proven to increase strength and muscle volume, of course need to exercise too!

After all that, get your T levels tested by NHS/private every 5yrs or so and if it drops off look at getting that sorted. Don’t use online tests they won’t interpret the results properly. Ie low test can be fine, it’s the free test/ratio that’s important.

Definitely get your bloods checked out.

Worth looking at your diet/eating. Are you in a deficit or surplus etc. eating a low fat diet can have a big effect on your hormone levels.

As for over the counter I’ve had good results with tongkat ali and used rad140 before as well.

Just started on ashkwanda yesterday to see if that has any effect.

Nothing will beat prescribed medication form the Dr. There is no real scientific basis for anything else in terms of supplements. Keep fit and active and do resistance training.

Look into pt141. It's been a godsend for us. It's an amino acid that actually makes both men and women horny as hell and really helps with sexual function. Loads of vids on YouTube and we have been using it for a year with great results

Zinc, magnesium and vit D. Zinc absolutely helps increase your overall T levels as I have proven with blood work. Doubled my T after a few weeks of 50mg zinc daily. You have to balance zinc with some copper too though.

So, I've got a busy month next month coming up, but I've formally requested to see the Doctor in May to try and get my bloods tested to check various levels including Testosterone.

I've mixed around slightly with brands and have increased my Omega-3. Generally I feel ok, but again I feel my sex drive has gone a little.

Dietary change is all you need.

Oysters are heralded as a miracle but the truth is that the only reason they work is that the body lacks the minerals in them so the boost works wonders. If your diet has all the minerals needed and you steer clear of anti-nutrients and other bad things then you won't need supplements.

I'd be very interested to hear what exactly you will say yo your GP.

You seem to be saying your sex drive has diminished but how do you actually quantify this.

Are you saying you don't feel the urge or want to have sexual relationships or just finding it difficult finding sexual partners.

You say you had sex recently and didn't climax quickly, do you see that as a good thing and probably nothing to do with sex drive.

You seem a fit and healthy young man but from verifications not too many meets.

Are you somehow judging your lack of meets to a low sex drive.

I'd also be really interested if your GP would actually feel the need for bloods.

Good luck, keep us updated.

Try not to overthink it.

What makes you think you have low testosterone first thing you need to do is get your bloods done but they are probably going to tell you everything is normal

I recommend focusing on healthy lifestyle practices that can often improve overall well-being and potentially influence libido, such as:

Maintaining a regular sleep schedule.

Engaging in regular physical activity

Practicing stress management and mental wellbeing methods.

Shilajit, Tongkat Ali, Ashwanga, Vitamin D are all supplements you can take but diet and exercise and the amount of quality sleep you get will have massive impact on your perceived levels of Testosterone

Holland & Barrett do men’s supplements. They have a whole shelf dedicated to it. Maca is supposed to be helpful for this, as I have the same issue sometimes, so I have just started to take that, as well as zinc.

Yes this works like magic, vigra won't work if the mind it's willing. Pt141 or bremodhide will hit the receptor in the brain that controls the sex drive. It's also found in melanotan 2.

Yes it's a peptide, mixed with bac water and a subcutaneous injection. Do some research, I do not condone the use of unprescribed medication and will not provide a source.
