Hi, Trying to contact someone but I'm blocked. I managed to get a message to them asking why but they say they have not blocked me, but think site has. They want to get back in contact

via a friend on here, they contacted them on my behalf & they replied saying " we've not blocked him, believe site have". I've not been informed by site that they have taken any action for anything I may have done/ said etc. They insist they've not blocked me

If they ever reported you then the site sometimes puts a block between the 2 profiles so you would need to get them to ask admin to remove it

Or they could have blocked you and not admitted the truth. Because frankly, getting someone else to message on your behalf, is a tad, I wanna say, desperate

Blocking someone isn’t always for a bad reason it can also be just to filter out profiles you don’t wanna see in local feed nothing personal, just ignore it and move on, I agree tho getting someone to message a profile on your behalf to ask why your blocked, is definitely a no go, if you message someone and they block you , that’s their choice not yours

It is against rules to try to bypass blocks, so be very careful what you do. You could message Admin, to inform of a potential bug but again, it's essential that nobody tries to avoid blocks.

I have also had this happen, but was able to WhatsApp the person as we had already exchanged numbers and confirmed that they had not blocked me.

Site does wierd things.
