Weirdly, I'm now in my 40s and had my first ever complaint when I went downstairs so to speak that my beard was hurting her. It's never happened ed before and now I'm super conscious about repeating the scenario. Any tips from guys or girls would be really appreciated

It depends how long it is. The longer it gets and with washing and brushing and oiling it gets softer
