Heathrow / Berks

Village hotels are pretty chilled. The walls are pretty thin though, you are likely to get the next door neighbour involved if there is enough moans etc.

The volume of the music in the bar in Chichester Village Hotel was unbelievable! No chance of being overheard! Easy access to room no one takes any notice!

Great! Thanks all! Wasn’t sure if visitors would need a key to get in a lift or in a hall leading to my room! Hopefully won’t disturb the neighbours too much!

Stayed at a few Village hotels now, mainly Walsall easy access to Chameleons. No issues before but we are now in the Portsmouth Village hotel and you need a keycard to access the elevator.

can usually do a daytime rate too at village, and never any issue for someone to go straight up to room without being questioned or needing a pass.

Not done Portsmouth one for a while though, so needing a pass to use lift is new news.
