How do I even get into that world?

Its something I would love to try. I'm terrified to go on my own as i'm a shy person before I get to know someone. Realistically would I get much attention if I went to a club?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Maybe attend when the clubs hold social events and remember that it might be first for you but others also
