Please ladies/girls/women be warned and wary of men asking for photos of you on here as there uploaded on to another site.

Please don't forget it's without your permission and is not tolerated.

Any image can be downloaded from here and used elsewhere, that just comes with the territory of posting pictures on the Internet.

"This proves the importance of having a "legal warning" on a profile "

Taken from the faqs section on fab

We've noticed a legal disclaimer paragraph that some people have on their profiles. Should we have one too? What are they about? Do they do any good?

The "legal disclaimer" is pointless nonsense and all does is take up extra space on our servers. Please remove it if you have it on your profile. If you're worried about privacy please set your account to be hidden from non-registered users on your privacy page (this also hides it from search engines but may take a week or two to drop out of search) and remove the notice (and encourage others to do likewise).

Common sense advice would be NOT to put any information on your profile (here, or on any such site) that could identify you or that you don't want to become public! So for your own benefit, don't post phone numbers, real names or email / instant message addresses on your profile that people might see or "Google".

Some people may put non-identifying pics on their public profile but keep face pics private or for friends, for example.

Agree. Don’t post anything you don’t want shared off here, once you’ve posted it it’s out of your control. Rule of thumb for me - nudity no face, face pic no nudity.

Yup. We don't bother with this

Good advice. This is how we have ours setup

Good point

"Some people may put non-identifying pics on their public profile but keep face pics private or for friends, for example."
We try and stick to the rule no face and nekked bits in the same pic. Facepics in private is fine, but keep them vanilla in case they fall into the wrong hands. Rude pics fine, but don't show your face.. Could be anyone then. X

It definitely works. When did you last see a Sydney University publication exposing Fab members ?

"Next you’ll all be saying that the Sydney University disclaimer is pointless! "

It is pointless, as it's not going to stop someone from doing it but if you do find out it's happened you yourself can still take action without a disclaimer. As there has been cases if you care to check the news papers one guy was a police officer

Also…

Be warned that there are some men on Fab who aren’t really trained masseurs!

They’ll just rub your tits and finger you a bit.

Do you honestly only think it happens to women, it's so much deeper than just uploading images, it'll be a breeze if that was all it is.

Hasn't happened to me but happened/happening to a work mate, so awful
