Anyone else been prescribed these?

Loss of mojo was listed as a possible side effect and like a dick head I thought it wouldn't happen to me. Doh!

I've stopped taking them now but it's been two weeks and it's still awol

Do you mean lost sex drive or general positivity?

Medication can take a while to leave your system.

Positivity is good, it's sex drive that has gone

Hopefully it will return in a couple of weeks.

No way of telling as medication affects people differently.

Try not to worry about it as that can make the mojo hide too.

Merry Christmas

You’re taking a medication that literally suppresses the hormones that make you a man, hardly surprising it’s killed your sex drive.

Plenty of reports of men actually losing penis size while taking it, some guy never fully recover size or function.

I’d rather lose my hair than mess with my hormones trying to save it

I hope that's after long term use

No some guys seem fine with it but others suffer badly, not necessarily related to length of use.

Plenty of experiences documented on Reddit, the good the bad and the ugly.

The negatives health effects of lowering DHT can be drastic, a hair transplant or just shaving it off seem like better options

Get some blood tests done from Optimale, if you have upset your normal hormone levels they will be able to tell you. If they don’t return they can offer testosterone replacement therapy

Yes unfortunately one of the main side effects.

We still wear latex gloves when dispensing it so we don’t come into contact with it.

However, it’s a highly effective drug when used to treat prostate problems.

The side effects will pass.

All the best OP.

Ah I didn’t realise it was used to treat prostate issues, I had only heard of it used for hair loss.

Please accept my apologies if I jumped to the wrong conclusion

Because of the side effects?

Make another appointment and discuss your worries x

Yes that is the reason I stopped taking it.

I stopped taking it as it seemed to be moving me towards incontinence. The Tamsulosin stopped me from producing anything when I ejaculated. Thankfully I no longer take either.

The problem is that doctors prescribe this stuff and don't follow up

Always consult your GP with medical issues, as they know your medical history and medications.

That's the result I had this time nearly straight away with Finastride. Followed by a complete lack of interest. When I took Tamuloson in the past I, didn't suffer any side effects.
