You should also counter-block them, otherwise they can momentarily remove their block to look at your profile then block again so you can't see them.

If they have blocked you they can still see your status by simply looking at their block list. A block only stops you from contacting each other & you seeing their profile in searches however they can still see anything you post in the forums.

If you block someone will they still see your pics if it comes up in the hotlist?

Yes they can see your status updates by looking at you on their block list.

A male blocked us so we blocked him and he updated his Dyaus which was visible on our block list when looking at his profile name.

This. I do this all the time if I know I've been blocked, because 99% of the time it isn't because of anything I've done
