Myself and a friend are on a cruise in feb and want a discreet way of letting anyone who may be in the lifestyle know we’re looking for discreet fun. Any ideas? We’ve heard about ankle bracelets but unsure how accurate that is

I’ve done three cruises this year. Met Fabbers on two of them. Put your cruise on the forum. That’s how I met up. Got chatting to a couple a few days before we set off.

If you are on a Virgin Voyages cruise join the Virgin Pineapple Friends group on Facebook.

Look on “who’s near” when your are in port.

We used the 'Who's near' on our cruise from Southampton to Sao Paulo' in October. Not a single Fabber on board but one friend on here was in Portugal the same time as us but too far away.

Thankfully we foundfun with non fabbers

In swinger friendly locations my partner sometimes wears an ankle bracelet with one female symbol and lots of male symbols. She likes it, but no-one, not even swingers has ever mentioned it, so I doubt it's a very practical way of meeting other people.

A "Get in the swing" tee shirt might be more successful, but then you might also get lots of people wanting to talk to you about golf...

After some small talk, assuming you're all getting on, move the subject to hobbies or things you enjoy and then just be open about swinging. We find that people are interested to know about it even if they don't want to indulge...certainly makes for interesting conversations.

Pretty much how we had fun with one of the singers on our last cruise. We were chatting after his set and he was from Sao Paulo. We were staying there after the cruise and got talking about the city. Somehow the topic got onto different clubs.

Turned out he used to go to Inner Club in Sao Paulo with his ex wife and we were looking to visit it after our cruise.

Aurelia invited him back to the cabin to discuss it further.
