"Had a few weeks away from Fab ,although I've occasionally checked in to see If I have any messages (more out of blind optimisem than owt else ). I thought about deleting my profile ,thought about what advice I had been given by others ,and thought about the research I had done into other single blokes on here who had all the verifications, and all the single blokes who were asking for advice ,only to get the same old response of "Go to a club or organised social ". Although I've accepted in my time away that I will never meet anyone from here, even if I was on here for 20 years , as I'm not into the "club and organised socials scene " My stress has gone ,after my break and clearing my head ,and from now on ,I will just enjoy posting in the forums, without the stress of attempting the impossible of hoping for even a social meet . Happy Christmas Everyone " And yet you are still here posting relentlessly negative stuff on other threads about how you have never had a meet. Many years ago I changed my whole mindset from negative to positive after taking stock of my life and taking to heart a few friends tell me to stop moaning! I just stopped saying negative things, blaming fate or any failing in my life, looked at all the positives in my life and it was transformational. I became a much more positive person and good things happened including women wanting to be with me. I have had many years as a single man through choice spanning my mid thirties to close to late forties and met many women. Women like positive people. They have usually had or still have a miserable moaning husband and don’t want any more of that. Give it a go. I would also leave this place, at least for a while. If something brings you the opposite of happiness, get it out of your life. As it is, even the forums just give you an opportunity to keep telling yourself and others you can’t get a meet. | |||
