Wife messaging on husband's prolile

Near Bishop Auckland.

advice please. I met a man 4 times on fab.then yesterday i got a message off a woman claiming she is hes wife.(this was on hes profile) he told me he single and lived with a mate. Today i have got messages off her again on another profile with two photos of him on it.the problem is i verified him so she knows what we did and now wants to know personal details.she told me that she would catch me in the street. What do i do now.?

I'd send her a polite message, stating that you were unaware he had a wife and that you don't feel comfortable talking to her about it. Suggest that she talk to her husband about it?

I would just say what the previous poster said.

That you were unaware and this isn't your issue.

It really isn't you didn't know so you are absolutely not at fault.

Have you spoken to him about this?.

I hope your ok, that just be horrible finding out that way.

Personally I'd block the profile.

I'd be really annoyed that I was lied to. There a dad a thread yesterday suggesting women need to ask. From your post it's clear you asked and he chose to lie.

It's not fair she is messaging you and not dealing with him directly.

Make sure you keep a copy of every message and report any further threats to the police. I would also report both accounts to admin here.

If she wants personal details about what was done, perhaps she should speak to her husband.

However, are you certain it's not him?

I faced this by the husband yet she claimed that she was single this happened many years ago and the husband wanted also details of what had occurred and wanted the truth as he loved her

So I told him the truth with gaps for his wife to fill in the blanks.... Really felt sorry for the guy as I understand what it feels like to be cheated on

It's possible it is the man playing games. Either way, I'd tell whoever it is you weren't aware and to talk to them about it. I'd then block all.

It sounds like she’s making their problem’s yours. Block, block and block. If she persists remind her that the harassment laws and thresholds in this country are surprisingly low.

What consenting adults do in their own time is up to them. Her problem is at home not with you.

Tell her you weren’t aware that he wasn’t single.

Tell her that making threats is illegal and that she needs to withdraw the threat.

Report the profile / messages

And tell her that if she repeats her threats you will report her to the police

I don’t think it’s necessary to tell her this. It is not your (or anyone else’s) responsibility to verify anything other than age and consent of the individual. The blame lies with him and not you. By adding this detail it takes away the responsibility and accountability from the individual doing the cheating.

My advice, don't feed the beast.

You had arrangement/agreement with her (assuming it is the wife).

Ignore, block and get on with enjoying your life.

If it continues report the profile, if it becomes overwhelming advise the police, they will take it seriously.

It will be disabled as someone else is using the account.

Without a Mods hat on, this happened to us many years ago and we felt awful when she got in touch even though he didn't give any signs of being attached. Happily she didn't abuse us , she accepted that it was him who was cheating, but if she hadn't I would have had to say you need to speak to him as we were duped too.

Playing devil's advocate, are you sure it really is his wife? Could it be he has changed his mind after your meet, doesn't know how to tell you and is using this as a way out?

If she has messaged from his profile he has clearly been caught or is playing a game

I’d be more interested in the other profile she has messaged from, is it hers, another of his, a couples one they have together, or neither?

How does she have access to that account?

How did she know he had fab?

Sounds a bit suspect to me as in someone is playing mind games with you.

Keep all messages and block the accounts
