I would advise against it, if you were drinking pernod the night before. Been there, got the puke bucket.

It's the one time I crave McDonald's hamburgers and thick shakes.

Although some ice cold Irn Bru would go down very nicely too.

Try to avoid getting them. Ever since mid thirties if the reaper himself showed at my door the morning of a bad hangover I'd willingly go with him hahaha

I'm an ex medic.

*Hangovers Explained*

The reason we get hangovers is because of alcohol obviously. But apart from getting you rat arsed, it also dehydrates the menigi, which is like a spongy cushion that protects your brain from rattling around in your skull.

So you need to hydrate, at least 1 litre of water. X2 ibuprofen (anti imflamitories, & if you can take them) every 4 hours until feeling better and you're good to go.

If you happen work in a hospital. Oxygen will give you a helping hand too.

Bare in mind. Neither get rid of the blood content in your alcohol stream. So don't drive.

Absolutely second that. I’m a cyclist and use hydration tablets when hungover, half hour after taking one I’m ready to go

"Vitamin B12 injections. I never get hangovers anymore."

Ha, I thought it was anti depressants I was on more than 15 years ago that gave me the ability to drink as much as I like without hangovers.

I never even considered the B12 jabs I have been having quarterly since around that time.

I remember the Doctors Mess parties of yesteryear … pure oxygen, Voltarol dispersible (stronger version of ibuprofen) and bottle of water!
