Hope this doesn't sound daft.

If I send a message and someone doesn't reply but doesn't delete the message, does that mean the could be interested ?

Could mean they aren't interested, busy at the moment, want to talk to there partner. Could mean anything. I'd say give it 3-4 days and if haven't replied then you can take it they aren't interested.

I'd simply take a none reply as not interested. Some couples/single ladies get 100's and don't delete them all at once. Better to just wait for a reply.

I never delete my messages as I see no reason to.

Could be any number of reasons why someone hasn't replied and not deleted your message. If someone is interested they will reply. My advice is to not keep checking the status of your sent messages. Hope you get a positive reply.
