I'm not familiar with this Elvis song

Elvis had the voice and the looks but he also recorded some fabulous songs with meaningful lyrics. In the Ghetto is probably my favourite as well but the below songs all resonate with me

.

Yes, we're different worlds apart

We're not the same

We laughed and played

At the start, like in a game

You could have stayed

Outside my heart

But in you came

And here you'll stay

Until it's time for you to go

.

.

Wise men say

"Only fools rush in"

But I can't help

Falling in love with you

Shall I stay?

Would it be a sin

If I can't help

Falling in love with you?

.

.

Maybe I didn't treat you

Quite as good as I should have

Maybe I didn't love you

Quite as often as I could have

Little things I should have said and done

I just never took the time

You were always on my mind (you were always on my mind)

You were always on my mind

.

.

We're caught in a trap

I can't walk out

Because I love you too much, baby

Why can't you see

What you're doing to me

When you don't believe a word I say?

We can't go on together

With suspicious minds

And we can't build our dreams

On suspicious minds

.

.

There must be lights burning brighter somewhere

Got to be birds flying higher in a sky more blue

If I can dream of a better land

Where all my brothers walk hand in hand

Tell me why, oh why, oh why can't my dream come true

.

.

In the interest of balance it should also be noted that for his movie output he did record some cringe worthy songs.

"Elvis was the best all round entertainer. My favourite Saturday night is (Alexa play Elvis Presley ) safe to say I’m a bit of a super fan "

First let me say I've been to Graceland so not anti-Elvis. But he wasn't an "all round entertainer". He was just a singer and good stage performer who was exploited and manipulated by his manager into appearing in films and taken advantaged of by hangers for what they could get out of him.

Unfortunately, the entertainment 'industry' is littered with many people who because they became popular at a young age suffered similarly.
